Chalet Enthusiasm

Just five days back i just entered into a bungalow that i have only seen in my wildest dreams, it was so intoxicating with toilets in the upper floor and lower floor, two rooms with a masterbed and split single beds and air conditioners which could freeze you to death in seconds. Alright its not intoxicating but its a reasonably well made chalet which accommodates you well. Not to mention the extensive facilities which would have been better if not for the dumb rental rates($6.10 per hour for multi purpose court, i rather go changi and play basketball with our beloved homosexuals).

Seriously this chalet was the best i ever had been, everyone i saw and communicated with both physically and verbally was so refreshing and pleasant. First time i had to move out of my usual sleeping times of 9 to 12am and move into 3am to 5am sleeping times. Eating titbits and watching chinese crime thrillers and slapstick comedy movies was another highlight. And when the whole gang arrived on the day of barbecue we had more fun with volleyball, basketball and then street soccer which really was done in midst of the street, banners and hideous looking trees. Not to mention first time there were two couples in the midst and another almost about to be couples(Their names will not be mentioned to protect them from being nudged in MSN like siao).

Playing cards was another highlight with the boastful one sometimes losing with atleast five people laughing like drunken hyenas at his/her face. And add the cost of drinking champagne or wine for those who lose continuously...imagine the horror of you doing something silly while drunk and being photographed in a nokia phone with sliding camera. But when the final days came there was abit of melancholy inside me..this maybe perhaps the last time i see them all till my first weekend break from NS arrives. Till then its all gung ho with the lunar new year fever.
